Locality: 30 km SSE of Ohanet, 120 km NW of Edjeleh, In Akhamil, border of Tinrhert, Sahara, Algeria.

Etymology: In honor of Vullo's late friend and colleague Jean-Claude Rage, who first suggested that the material studied may belong to Lapparentophis, and in recognition of his innumberable and invaluable contributions to palaeoherpetology and palaeobiogeography.

Locality: El Begaa locality near Taouz, Kasr-es Souk Province, southeastern Morocco.
Horizon: Kem Kem beds, Ifezouane Formation.
