Locality: Tomahawk locality, o.16 km (0.1 miles) est of the eastern branck of Little Tomahawk Creek along the now abandoned course o fOld Hundred Road (VA 652), a small roadside exposure near Midlothian, Chesterfield County, Richmond basin, east-central Virginia.

Horizon: Tomahawk Creek Member, Vinta Formation (orignally Turkey Branch Formation), Newark Supergroup.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early to Middle Carnian Stage, Early Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: Left maxilla with postcanine teeth.
