Etymology: In reference to the Nyukseintsa District, Vologda Province, Sukhona River Basin, Northern Russia, where the fossil was found.

Etymology:

Holotype: PIN 3159/1

Locality: Navoloki Locality, Right bank of Sukhona River 1.5 km below Navoloki hamlet, Nyuksenitsa District, Volga Province, Russia.

Horizon: Northern Dvina Horizon, Poldarsa Formation, Tatarian Series, Upper Severodvinian Substage, Severodvinian Horizon (Sukhonian suite).

Biostratigraphy: Sokolki Faunal Assemblage, Ilinskoe Faunal Subassemblage, Proelginia permiana Zone.

Age: Upper Tatarian Age, Lopingian Subepoch, Zechstein Epoch, Late Permian.

Material: Fragmentary skull.
