Locality: "Puesto Viejo" locality, Colonia Las Malvinas, Department of San Rafael, Mendoza Province, Argentina.

Horizon: Rio Seco de la Quebrada Formation (old Puesto Viejo Formation), Puesto Viejo Group.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Late Anisian Stage/Early Ladinian Stage, Mid Triassic Epoch, Middle Triassic.

Material: Skull, mandibles and fragmentary skeleton.
