Etymology: In reference to the village of Tiki in the Shadol district, Madhya Predish, India.

Holotype : GSI Type no. Pal/CHQ-005

Locality : 4 km southwest of the Tiki Village, Lat. 23°55’N, Long. 81°22’E, south Rewa Gondwana Basin, Madhya Pradesh State, India.

Horizon: Lower part of the Tiki Formation, Gondwana Supergroup.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Carnian Stage, Late Triassic Epoch, Late Triassic.

Material: A tetracuspid lower postcanine tooth.
