Etymology: Latin, amabilis, "love, loveable."

Species: uchoensis HERMANSON, IORI, EVERS, LANGER & FERREIRA, 2020
Etymology: In reference to the Uchoa municipaliaty, where the holotype is housed.

Holotype: MPPC 01-0040

Locality: Zero Um palaeontological site, 21°01'01/6", 49°13'06.9"W, Ibira-SP, Uchoa Municipality, Sao Paulo State, Brazil.

Horizon:Sao Jose do Rio Preto Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Possibly Santonian Stage, Early Senonian Subepoch, Early Gulf Epoch, Early Late Cretaceous.

Material: A partial skull lacking only the prefrontals, maxillae, premaxillae and squamosals, which are not preserved.
