Etymology: In honor of paleontologist Jun A Ebersoel for his contributions to the study of paleontology in Alabama as well as his advocacy of natural science reserach and education in Alabama.

Holotype: ALMNH PV985.24

Locality: Precise locality unknown, Alabama.

Horizon: Basal Mooreville Chalk, Selma Group.
