Species: gracilis ANQUETIN, PÜNTENER, & BILLION-BYRANT, 2015
Etymology: Latin, gracilis, "slender"; in reference to the gracile morphology of this taxon compared to that of the type species, Portlandemys mcdowelli.

Holotype: MJSN BSY009-708

Locality: Bois de Sylleux, Courtedoux, near Porrentruy, Switzerland.

Horizon: Chevenez Member, Reuchenette Formation.

Biostratigraphy: Lower Virgula Marls.

Age: Late Kimmeridgian Stage, Middle Malm Epoch, Middle Late Jurassic.
