Locality: Abandoned Schmidt Quarry, half way along the road that connectes the villages of Hegnabrunn and Feuln, near the upper Franconian Town of Kulmbach, Bayern State, Germany.

Horizon: Upper Muschelkalk.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Early Ladinian Stage, Late Mid Trias, Middle Triassic.
