Locality: "Le Banne" (BAN), at the construction of the A16 Transjurane highway, a hill southwest of Porrentruy, Canton of Jura, NW Switzerland.

Horizon: Banne Marls, Banne Member, Reuchenette Formation.

Biostatigraphy:

Age: Early Kimmeridigian Stage, Malm Epoch, Late Jurassic.

Material: A relatively completed, but crushed cranium.

Paratypes:

MJSN BAN001-2.2 to MJSN BAN001-2.28: 12 costals, 4 peripherals, 7 hyoplastra, and 4 hypoplastra found associaed wiht the holotype, but represents at least 5 differend individuals.
